Petit coq très arrogant,
Crête en l'air et queue au vent,
Prétendait faire la loi.
De quoi, de quoi ?
Dit l'oie en dandinant.
Au coin, au coin,
Dit le canard en clopinant.
Qu'est ce que c'est ?
Dit la poule en accourant.
Petit coq très très prudent,
Bec ouvert et tout courant,
Rentre vite sous son toit
Et attendit patiemment
D'être grand pour faire la loi.
